BACK IN THE GROOVE is an up-tempo funk piece. This final movement of Colourama carries PINK as its colour and is pure celebration. Stage planning, mutes, repetitions etc. are ad lib. Featuring flugel and soprano in two short solos.

Colourama Suite was commissioned by Per-Erik Petersen & the IMI Brass from Stavanger, Norway and premiered on November 2nd 2013 at the Siddis Brass Entertaining Contest in the LKS Hall, Stavanger.
